Leopard will never change its spots. So why will the EU?

We've had the madness of King George who lost America. Now we have the Madness of Mrs May who has lost Great Britain. Each day that passes we have more distance between what is legally correct and what is Mrs May's interpretation. This is known as a dictatorship!

We have legally left the EU, yet we have to go to court to prove it! Why because our PM is a Dictator! March 29th was enshrined in law. Enshrined in the English Bill Of Rights no foreign Prince, person, prelate, state or potentate can rule England.

I watched the TV this weekend just as many have, I am staggered at the events that have taken place. I am also concerned by the freedoms of interpretation that our press have. I saw little in the way of the solidarity shown to the 70-year para veteran by the bikers parading through London, this was a remarkable example of comradery shown to a serving para during the Irish troubles.  The troubles were appalling but a line has been drawn, amnesty has been granted, and we must move on. Why then is a para being dragged through the courts for something that happened 40 years ago, a period in time others have long been pardoned for. It is exactly this stupidity that will bring the troubles alive again causing divisions across the divide.

I watched the David Lammy interview on the Andrew Marr show. I am aghast at the accusation that the ERG are N..i's in fact worse he explains that the term is too soft a term.

1. Mr Lammy anti-Semitism sits firmly in the labour domain.

2. My hope is that Mr Lammy is arrested for that despicable accusation, for he has no parliamentary privilege on the Andrew Marr show. The protestor was arrested for calling Anna Sourby the same.

3. Having watched Mr Lammy on Question time, I have to say; it will be difficult to bring decorum to Parliament when emotions and accusations are so childish.

We do indeed need an election to weed this lot out of Parliament. But! Of course, after such a difficult period to let a Marxist in shell suit run the worlds 5th biggest economy this would be the icing on the cake, the nail in the coffin for the demise of the UK.

The UK has the second best investment, 2nd only to China, we have the best growth in Europe, better than Germany double that of France. Our employment is remarkably strong, when you compare to the Eurozone we are positively utopia, why then are there so many eminent characters fighting to keep us shackled to the EU.

Terms like the EU is the biggest trading block in the world, this is rubbish, simply not true. Asian economies are the biggest trading block, the EU is a dwarf to this block and will represent less than 10%, as Asian countries displace the top 5 economies.  It is an informal gathering of supportive nations. I have written much on this subject reference the wave mentality driving Asia's growth over 50 years. Click here to view.  Here there is no ivory tower, no tax funded wine cellars or jamborees just good honest gatherings. No Verhofstadt demanding Sovereignty be stripped of participating neighbours. There is no regulation stifling growth. No CET forcing cost by as much as 50% (dairy products) on hard done by consumers.

I watched the Andrew Neil interview with Ken Clarke, my jaw dragging the floor in astonishment. Mr Clarke has no basis for his argument other than a leopard will indeed change their spots, which of course we all know it does not.

In terms of changing approach, if that were the case the EU would have recognized by now that the ideology behind the Euro is destroying the youth of the Mediterranean countries. The Euro will fail and if the Med countries are expelled for their own survival, the world will see a kick back that will make 2008 look like a tea party. For sure any currency they adopt will be so burdened with debt that it will not be able to sustain itself causing a collapse and a default.

If Ken Clarke is so sure of himself then why are we in this situation with this dogged divisive negotiation.  A negotiation that will destroy the German car industry if someone doesn't soon apply the brake.

The only news worthy of note is Boris' article in the Telegraph where he claims once this is done the pent-up investment looking to come into the UK will be unleashed. Well we have evidence of that inward investment, since the referendum it has been remarkably strong. No thanks to Mr Osborne.

Thank you for reading please comment, follow and like please, I appreciate the support and the many shares.

Mrs May Our Brush With Authoritarianism

The week that was. The week the UK went from being a tolerant bastion of democracy with a rich history of parliamentary procedures.

An advocator of consensus a great protector against authoritarianism. An apologist for colonialism. A fair and just legal system, the envy of the world. A nation of loyal patriots led by wise statesmen and women leaders who have carried us forward in difficult times. Through the ages have repelled invaders. We are a people of placid pagan virtues, whose warrior instinct emerge only in self-defence.

This week that saw a decline even demise in centuries of honourable traditions, traditions admired from around the world. A legal system that has influenced many a nation bringing a form of civilization to many a doctrine of predestination. We are the epitome of human rights, of legal fairness. A nation built on sound honest principles honed over centuries of blood sweat and tears. Rights immortalized within the magna-carta.

March 29th a date enshrined in law cast aside as though it were a toffee wrapper. No mention, no change just discarded as though it mattered not one jot.

A vote to discard no deal as though this is a magic wand to a better time when indeed we handcuff our negotiation. As an example who would look at a house, tell the owner I'm buying this house come what may, I'm not leaving without it. All the time the sellers are rubbing their hands in glee.

An MP released from prison who has no voting rights is allowed and her vote accepted carrying the motion by 1 vote. Duplicity, double standards, all this from a parliament established honourably over centuries of evolution.

Democracy flaunted with calls of a 2nd referendum. Calls that are done so that the result can be thrown out from the previous referendum. Consensus of the cabinet cast aside like some bed cover in a working boudoir. Plummeting our democracy, its founding principles to that of an authoritarian state.

Handing the keys to number 10 by way of elevating the biggest threat to the UK corporate standing since Brezhnev controlled the soviet empire, making Corbyn appear the saviour of the day, and if he's not he can portray you Mrs May as obstinate misguided and out of touch with reality. If you’re in any doubt Mrs May look to the press, Corbyn will not even need to lift his rear off his threadbare sofa to do just that.

Look to the local elections, activists who will not activate. Doorsteps have become Conservative no go zones. Funds are withheld on the basis of why throw money after bad. The Conservatives are doomed for this was not a week in politics, this was several years in the making.

I'm sorry to say, I for one held Boris and Jacob in high esteem, that was until they supported May's deal.  This was a mistake that will come back to haunt you. I realize your intentions were well-founded that you saw a risk to Brexit, but Brexit will happen. Maybe the Blair's will overturn the will of the “stupid 17.4 M people of which I am one. But, Brexit will happen.

What leader would sit by and allow a predecessor to undermine her to the extent that Blair has. Another blatant example as to how weak we have become when a person of some considerable notoriety can undermine the government with impunity. Blair should stand trial for war crimes, Churchill nor Thatcher would have allowed this.

Our standing whether obvious or not has been weakened under your leadership. You have given hope to every despot intent on human rights violations across the globe. You have destroyed our great legal system. A beacon, a bastion of our rich fair history. You are casting aside our principles our integrity as though it was a discarded Mars bar wrapper.

Stand aside, lets us try to bring stability to the UK, restore the Great. But I fear the conservatives are but a foot note in history. The party that brought and failed to bring authoritarian leadership to the UK.

Open letter to Sky news following appalling reporting and treatment

Dear Sir

Your recent report whereby your presenter attempted to vilify an individual for calling Mrs May a traitor is a gross violation of your supposed impartiality, throwing into doubt your neutral approach to news reporting.

1. Freedom of speech is sacrosanct in this country.  It is not your job to use the power of your position to humiliate him with your bias reporting.
2. He is correct Mrs May together with many other inviduals have behaved in a treacherous way.

Democracy is about the majority and the majority is to leave the EU.  Not to sign us up to a treaty which surrenders our country.  Only a war time leader who has lost a war would do such a thing.

Let me tell you why this man was right and why you were out of order.

1. Agreeing that treaty, which by the way she has done. There is a clear law in place that parliament have to agree. Yet as far as the EU is concerned the UK have agreed. Therefore,  not to be opened again.
2. The manifesto was a lie. Brexit means Brexit was a lie.  No deal is better than a bad deal was a lie. We will leave March 29th was a lie.

3. Her latest ruling, going over the heads of the cabinet.
4. Using her office to run roughshod over us and her parliament in repeatedly pushing this surrender document through the house.
5. She, and Blair are undermining us all with their back door deals.
6. This farce has impacted SMEs throughout the UK. She has no care for those individuals. Article 50 said we leave on the 29th. It is the law!

We are not Venezuela yet we are reduced to being a Venezuela.

If I can suggest, perhaps leave your bias at home.

Regards

A democratic concerned voter.

Brexit - Ma'am please bring the party to an end!

It's time Ma'am! You stepped in before and replaced a sitting PM.

In 1975: Australia had a government shutdown once. In the end, the queen fired everyone in Parliament.  A new PM was appointed, elections were held, they never mis-behaved again.

It's time to do so again Ma'am for the sake of your loyal subjects.

BREXIT: Say No to a Second Referendum, Say yes to an Election.

Philip Hammond is no friend of the people. The Telegraph have run an excellent story today discussing what a chancellor should be and what this chancellor is doing.

What he should be doing is advising the government on how to prepare for a no deal. Showing the EU that we're not afraid of moving to WTO rules, after all WTO countries have benefited from trade with the EU far more than we have. He should indeed return to our conservative roots, be the Champion of free trade.

I trust the government … will not resume the policy which they, and we have found most inconvenient, namely the haggling with foreign countries about reciprocal concessions, instead of taking that independent course which we believe to be conducive to our own interests … Let us trust that our example, with the proof of practical benefits we derive from it, will at no remote period insure the adoption of the principles on which we have acted … Let, therefore, our commerce be as free as our institutions. Let us proclaim commerce free, and nation after nation will follow our example.

Sir Robert Peel 1846

Philip Hammond should be supporting the negotiation he should spell out that we could be come a low tax competitor, a supporter of global free trade.  He should show the EU that we are not afraid to go it alone, after all we are in better shape.  It would then be up to the EU to make the next move and offer a deal that keeps us on side.

Instead, Mr Hammond MP, doesn't see this as a fight for Britain he sees this as fight between Remainers and Brexiteers.  He sees Brexit as a disaster. He sees the cabinet split with Remainers having the upper hand. He has no concern for the people nor for his constituents who voted leave.

The issue here as the Telegraph point out that as Mrs May's majority had been slashed.  She had little room to punish Mr Hammond for his poor performance following his first budget debacle. Not only this relieves him to continue to undermine the referendum, it also sent a message to other members of her cabinet that she was weak and can not sack anyone, therefore anything goes.

I maintain, we need an election.  The MPs no longer (as if they ever did) act as our proxy, our representatives we need to clean house.

The EU is a failed project, the beneficiaries are the elite, the big corporations even the German people are the underpaid (over 10 years, since 2008 Germans have enjoyed a 13% increase, Finland 30%). They have not benefited from the swelling German Industry coffers.

I have also read recently that “Lady Nugee” nee Emily Thornberry, a lady who doesn't use her title as it makes her appear out of touch with the people, is advocating a second referendum with the question such that 1. Remain 2. Leave on May's deal. Does she really think we are so stupid.

  1. Overturns the referendum.
  2. Keeps us in the EU under the Customs Union in perpetuity.  Also, under article 4 keeps us under the ECJ even if we could break free.

Her treachery to the electorate is beyond doubt. Her attitude to the electorate is contemptible.

If we are to secure our future we should fight participating in a second referendum if it has remain as an option or is on her terms. We should insist on a general election, after all 80% of us voted on manifestos that Brexit means Brexit!

The future is bright the world is in better shape collectively than the EU. According to PWC. No EU country will be in the top 5 economies as we move towards 2030. Some reports show that no EU country will appear in the top 10. That the UK will overtake the German economy.

There is a reason that investment in the UK is 2nd only to China. There is a reason why corporate EU are investing in the UK.

Don't fall for more elite lies, more project fear from the vested parties of our government.

Brexit - Treason, Fascism snaps at our door Asia beckons!

It's Time We Called Time On The EU

It's time we called this for what it is. Treasonous behaviour! We should not forget the behaviour of the 400 MPs plus Blair and his entourage that have tried so hard to disrupt the Brexit process. This has held us back for over two years. During a period when Asia is establishing with billions being spent on infrastructure.

The EU under Junker, Tusk with Barnier and Verhofstadt is a failed project. Autocratic monolithic monster destroying all in its path. For the sake of those countries that remain we should not embellish their coffers in order that they wreak more havoc on the remaining 27.

The youth of the south have suffered enough. If we allow this EU folly to continue we will have fascism again in Europe and on our doorstep.

Italy has now stepped out of line and looking to trade with the UK, more will do the same! What's sad, is we have had to wait for the ranks to break all because of our devious MPs constantly giving hope to their EU masters.

We have lost 2.5 years on this it's enough!

Mrs May has tried hard to hide her deeds, to change the result! On June 23rd we came to a fork in the road. The electorate were delegated to, they chose 'leave'. To her credit at first she showed her willingness to take the right road defined by us. Since, she has constantly looking for rat runs to return to the status quo.

No deal is fine we apply CET and negotiate FTA's with the rest of the world. At the end we the UK consumer will have cheaper food and the EU will lose market share!

Pay only for the projects we are part of, get title deeds for the buildings and infrastructure we own and let's move on. Trade with those that want to. Stick tariffs under WTO on those that don’t.  But move on we must!

DOMINIC GRIEVE, ANNA SOURBY, BLAIR
Proud of yourself.
The list continues Clarke, Clegg, Adonis.  Blair should not get a penny from the state going forward.  Which ever side of the divide you are on these guys have undermined our democracy and our way of life!

We are not crashing out! We are not at a cliff edge! We are not little Englanders and we are not stupid. March the 30th will look exactly like March 29th but the future will be brighter.  History will show how we have mapped a brighter future for those that have tried so desperately to sabotage our future. They should be ranked among the communist shop stewards such as Red Robbo a man responsible for 523 strikes, who brought down our industrial manufacturing base of the 70s!

The EU Is No Longer Fit For Purpose - Hell, Recalling Ambassadors!?

The EU tirade on Brexiteers
Go to Hell

Oh, dear we seemed to have rattled the EU Lords and Masters. I suggest they put this deal to bed in a sensible way, before they implode. Italy and France are fractured, France is faced with industrial strife that will ensure they are relegated to the Southern league of countries. As the economies continue to splutter under the regulatory burden then France's ability to mask their non-compliance with regulations, that they produce will become more visible, fractures will deepen. What on earth France to recall its EU ambassador to Italy.

The EU is not fit for purpose! Mrs May made clear, WTO rules In her Lancaster House speech are better than a ‘bad deal’. This was widely interpreted as meaning that the UK would be prepared to walk away from the negotiations if an agreement can not be reached. We will rely on WTO rules as a framework under which to conduct trade. This was supposed to strengthen the UK’s negotiating hand because it implied that if the EU did not play ball with the UK there was a perfectly acceptable fall-back position. Then came remainers, doom sayer's creating many synonyms: Crashing Out, Cliff Edge, Falling off a cliff, falling into the clutches of WTO etc. This of course suited their narrative. But it's wrong, its pure sensationalism to distort the facts. For a start the UK was a founding member of the WTO and still holds its seat at the table.

Only Stupid People Call People Stupid

Such sound bites have in fact influenced the outcome, but not in a way the EU expected. On one hand the EU have taken comfort that the powers will prevent a no deal. Therefore, the EU offered the worst deal possible. Probably encourage by Blair in order that the people of Britain will see the folly of their way and overturn the vote. On the other hand, people have seen through this and reacted to being labelled as stupid little Englanders. The EU should of known, when we are backed into a corner we rarely emerge in a way the opposition expects. Has history taught these guys' nothing.

WTO as a proposition is perfectly acceptable.

However, that didn't stop eminent vested parties expressing their fear of a no deal outcome. In October 2016, the heads of four industrial lobby groups, the CBI, the EEF, the ICC and techUK, published an open letter to the Prime Minister saying: …

“Every credible study that has been conducted has shown that this WTO option would do serious and lasting damage to the UK economy and those of our trading partners. The Government should give certainty to business by immediately ruling this option out under any circumstances”.

Again project fear. At no time have they identified what these ‘credible studies’ were. It's as though they want to portray the WTO is some sort of monster organization that consumes its members — especially juicy new ones like the UK. As I said before it is our brainchild, and we have our place at the WTO table.

USA trades with the EU under WTO

The USA and 111 other countries trade with the EU
US - EU trade under WTO
For the monster that it is the EU trades with 111 countries including China (and Hong Kong), India, Russia, Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, and the United States they do this perfectly well under WTO. In fact, they do it better, since the formation of the Single Market in 1993, the growth rate of UK exports to these ‘WTO Only’ countries has been four times faster than the growth of UK exports to the EU. Meanwhile, over this same period, the growth rate of exports from the 14 top ‘WTO Only’ countries to the EU has been 27% higher than exports to the EU from the UK.

If trading under WTO is so scary then let's just rename it to the ‘American Version’ — because America trades with the EU, including the UK, extremely well. In fact, as umpteen countries do. Suddenly it doesn’t sound so disastrous. Indeed, when you examine the facts about different trading relationships, as collated by the redoubtable Michael Burrage,19 ‘WTO Only’ (Micheal Burrage Senior Research Fellow at Civitas) does not sound unappealing at all. Trading on a ‘WTO Only’ basis rely on the rules of the WTO for their trading arrangements and to settle any disputes. The WTO rules dictate only the maximum tariffs that may be applied. It is perfectly possible for a member country to reduce these tariffs or, indeed, to abolish them altogether.

It shows that ‘the WTO clutches’ are not at all clutch-like.
