The Barons Are Back The Magna Carta Has Been Shredded

Why the surprise? It's blind arrogance when an MP displays shock, horror, calls his vote of no confidence a sabotage, a conspiracy by UKIP supporters. I am stunned by Dominic Grieve, I am stunned by his arrogance, I have been for a long period if I am honest. His vote count was Remain 20,077, Leave 20,642 with a turnout of 78.4%. I'm not sure how his maths stacks up but that puts him on the wrong side of democracy. As for Anna Sourby implying South Bucks could have no one better. Perhaps she is right if we were in the days of the Barons at the time of the Magna Carta. For sure his superiority, lauding it over democracy would fit in nicely.

I will not just single him out as their are over 400 MPs that sit on the wrong side of this, and I don't just mean leavers, I also have sympathy with remain constituents who have a leave representative. John Redwood comes to mind for he too is on the wrong side of his electorate. His constituents voted to remain his activities are a direct contrast.

I used the term representative deliberately because that is what they are. They are not elected to be our masters, to provide demeaning language when referring to us so called well er., electorate. We are not the “dirty unwashed of society” we are worthy of respect. So please Mr Grieve save your indignation, you have failed your constituents and you have failed them spectacularly. Deselection will follow and if it doesn't then the conservatives will lose a seat.

As for Anna Sourby who openly taunts her electorate. Her statements in the house demeaning her majority as not even on her radar, well that is contemptible,  it is misrepresentation of a sale for want of a better term. In business this is a serious violation, opening the individual to a lawsuit with considerable damages.

In all honesty I fail to see how a constituency can elect a conservative member to be their representative, for that member to then resign from the conservatives and remain in their seat. Did the electorate waste their time voting? This is wrong, and it should be put right.

Our Parliamentary system is profoundly broken. My guess it has been broken for years, but now their inadequacies, their self-serving interests, the abject contempt they hold those that they represent has risen to the surface of the swamp.

I can imagine if the incredible hulk ran a party right now he would gain more seats than any incumbent. If Donald Trump were to be here I am sure he too would gain a majority. As would Nigel Farage for that should make you sit up and take note for that is a wave that's coming. I fail to see how they can not relate to the damage they have wrought on themselves and I don't just mean the Conservatives, but also Labour and where the hell are the Libs? The DUP are the only party who have remained consistent truly representing their electorate. We should seek the view of their NI electorate for sure it must be quite invigorating.

I believe in the Union and I hope to god it prevails. But the sniping at the SNP this week, this is not only childish it's sinister. It sends the wrong message to the Scottish people. For sure Scotland have options, they too have a rich history, it would be sad to see them leave the union.

You had your laughs. But we’re not laughing with you!

Do your job! Represent us, but keep your resume polished, although who in the real world who would trust you after this fiasco.

Thank you once again for indulging my ramblings.  If you have comments, good or bad I would be pleased to see them, and will adopt my style accordingly.

Brexit - Treachery!

Dear Mrs May

How can you allow Mr Blair to undermine this great nation to the extent that he is?  He is advising Macron on how to thwart the referendum result, two devious characters aligned in my opinion.  I am pleased that Mrs Merkel is having no part of this. He and Dominic Grieve are doing their best to undermine the British people, undermine the United Kingdom. This is shocking to the extreme!

Mrs May you appear but a shadow of our great leaders. You should act, have Blair curtailed. This is absurd who does he think he is? At least Lord Haw Haw was American.

As for these negotiations they for sure will not be binding.

An appendix doesn't add any new contract terms, which are enforceable provisions in the contract, or change the parties' obligations in the contract. However, an addendum to a contract is an addition to a contract that is a separate agreement and that can alter a contract.

Are you so desperate that you are prepared to sink us all? Either you have a deal or you don't have a deal.  Jean Claude Junker has now dismissed your optimism, denying that you have reached a settlement to the Irish backstop within the withdrawal agreement. Seriously, what is best endeavour? What does that even mean? Incidentally this is only one issue with the withdrawal agreement, Article 4 needs attention otherwise we will be under the ECJ in perpetuity.  This really is a dreadful deal.  You remind me of a rookie sales guy desperate to ingratiate with your bosses, you believe everything as the gospel.

Mrs May your words are reflecting in the markets the £ is moving like a yo-yo.
You're a bright lady Mrs May, so I ask are you or your kin speculating here?

Mrs May your credibility is shot to pieces, why do you insist on doing more harm?  The UK has a rich heritage, a noble past capable of honourable leadership in a complex world.  You Mrs May are making us appear as a banana republic, please step aside for the sake of our history, call an election if you must.

In 1975 our Queen removed a sitting PM, I feel we are at that juncture yet again.  Gouth Whitlam was sacked as the PM of Australia with Malcolm Fraser installed as an interim PM. My guess the only reason that has not happened here is the alternative Corbyn would be the worst choice even worse than you. Right now we need a change, before UK PLC sinks out of sight.

Boris Johnson makes a good point, the EU has paid lip service to us for decades 90% of the decision which we oppose have passed. We are seen as the unruly child who needs to be contained. You Mrs May are perpetuating this.  Please grow a backbone and walk away, they are making you look like a petulant child.

They export more to us than we to them.  In fact WTO countries have a better export record to the EU than we do. Our economy since 2008 has grown substantially more than the Eurozone. Fact the UK has done better than Germany.

Philip Hammond is a handicap to this government! He should be showing the way forward, he should have plans in place that support your/our endeavours with the EU. He should show how we will lead the world with free trade. We should give a tax structure that supports further investment and competes, we are already attracting investment at a greater rate than the US beaten only by China.  We are taking European investment from organizations who believe in Great Britain.

Our issues are not Brexit our issues are simply put, you, and this autocratic government who represent no one other than themselves.

I'm ashamed of our government, I am ashamed of the devious clearly corrupt behaviour to obstruct the negotiation, I am ashamed of the expenses scandals, but above all I am ashamed of the devious behaviour of those that have frequently briefed the EU.

Mr Junker has undermined you yet again. The £ has already lost ground since you spoke. Junker's platitudes on how we have a second chance is just patronising to this great nation. I will await the review by our Attorney General Geoffrey Cox. But,  I'm not holding my breath.

Brexit - Deselection - adaptation of a beautiful song

HOPES AND ASPIRATIONS FOR BREXIT

Goodbye to you my untrustworthy friends
We've known each other since I don't know when
Together we've climbed different hills and different trees
You've learned of love for the EUs failings
You've skinned our pockets and skinned our beliefs
Goodbye my friends it's not hard for you to leave
When all the time you’re in brexit denial
Now that spring is in the air
A pretty UK future can be seen everywhere
Think of us as we'll be there

We had no joy, we had no fun
We had seasons without the sun
But the hills that you climbed
Were just not from our time

Goodbye MPs please don't say a word
You and others are the black sheep of the family
You tried to teach us all the EU wrongs, claimed they were the only way
Too much of Junker’s wine and too much of Junker's song
Wonder how you ever got along
Goodbye Guys it's not hard to say
When all the birds are singing in the sky, you'll be gone
Now that the spring is in the air, coz you won't be their
Little children have a future everywhere
When you see them, we'll be there

We had no joy, we had no fun
We had seasons without the sun
But you had Junker’s wine and sang Junker's song
Like the seasons have all gone
We had no joy, we had no fun
We had seasons without the sun
But you had Junker’s wine and sang Junker's song
With you it was like the seasons have all gone

Goodbye MPs you are the devious ones
You gave us fear and hid the sun
And every time you put us down
You would always come around
And sweep our feet from on the ground
Goodbye Members you need to see,
All the birds are singing in the sky
Now that the spring is in the air
With the flowers everywhere
We're pleased you four won't be there!

Remainers Talisman Affection For The Single / Union

Single market, eu, brexit

I’ve tried hard to find any evidence that shows why Nick Clegg, Sir John Major, Tony Blair, Nicola Sturgeon, et al., believe that being in the single market is so important. Indeed, their belief is so strong they are prepared to break the union up. Yet they provide no supporting evidence as to why they believe it!.

Even representatives of our business community race to support our membership, yet they too are incapable of providing data to support their claims. Their only reason is we export a lot to Europe as though this will die after we leave. This is rubbish it would be a serious act of sabotage on the EU part if they stopped selling their cars, cheese, wine etc., into the UK. Only a petulant child would harm themselves in such a way.

Indeed, there is plenty of evidence out there that shows being a member of the single market has been exceedingly negative to the UK. I’ve said before WTO countries exports to the EU have grown significantly more than the UK exports to the EU.

Sure the single market in some areas has been a success, it has united 28 Countries into a single trading block. Margaret Thatcher pushed through the idea of a single market on the basis that it would unite and reduce regulation. If you look at the Cecchini report produced in 1988 it was incredibly optimistic about the single market, Predicting a 6.5% - 7% GDP increase over the first 5years.

Cecchini report - exert from the exec summary 1988 The Commission today revealed the results of a major study which It commissioned to
evaluate scientifically the benefits of the single market. This study which will shortly be published In book form provides the hard evidence, the confirmation of what those who are engaged In building Europe have always known: that the failure to achieve a single market has been costing European Industry dearly In unnecessary costs and lost opportunities; that the completion of the Internal market will provide the economic context for the regeneration of European Industry In both goods and services; and that It will give a permanent boost to the prosperity of the people of Europe. Cecchini report 1988

Even its ardent supporters had to admit it was overly optimistic. In fact all data shows that being a member of both the single market and customs union have provided the UK with a net loss. Yet scraggly politicians and business organizations all espouse sagely that we must continue our membership. My only conclusion they really don’t understand the market at all.

In fact to go one step further:

Roger Bootle has likened their fascination, talisman type reverence to the single market like that of the dying days of the soviet empire.

“Muttering support for the Single Market has become rather like, during the dying years of the Soviet Union, mouthing ritualistic quotes from Marx about the inevitable triumph of Communism - things you just repeat because that’s what you have always done and it’s what everybody else does, without ever questioning their relation to reality”.

Brexit - Treason, Fascism snaps at our door Asia beckons!

It's Time We Called Time On The EU

It's time we called this for what it is. Treasonous behaviour! We should not forget the behaviour of the 400 MPs plus Blair and his entourage that have tried so hard to disrupt the Brexit process. This has held us back for over two years. During a period when Asia is establishing with billions being spent on infrastructure.

The EU under Junker, Tusk with Barnier and Verhofstadt is a failed project. Autocratic monolithic monster destroying all in its path. For the sake of those countries that remain we should not embellish their coffers in order that they wreak more havoc on the remaining 27.

The youth of the south have suffered enough. If we allow this EU folly to continue we will have fascism again in Europe and on our doorstep.

Italy has now stepped out of line and looking to trade with the UK, more will do the same! What's sad, is we have had to wait for the ranks to break all because of our devious MPs constantly giving hope to their EU masters.

We have lost 2.5 years on this it's enough!

Mrs May has tried hard to hide her deeds, to change the result! On June 23rd we came to a fork in the road. The electorate were delegated to, they chose 'leave'. To her credit at first she showed her willingness to take the right road defined by us. Since, she has constantly looking for rat runs to return to the status quo.

No deal is fine we apply CET and negotiate FTA's with the rest of the world. At the end we the UK consumer will have cheaper food and the EU will lose market share!

Pay only for the projects we are part of, get title deeds for the buildings and infrastructure we own and let's move on. Trade with those that want to. Stick tariffs under WTO on those that don’t.  But move on we must!

DOMINIC GRIEVE, ANNA SOURBY, BLAIR
Proud of yourself.
The list continues Clarke, Clegg, Adonis.  Blair should not get a penny from the state going forward.  Which ever side of the divide you are on these guys have undermined our democracy and our way of life!

We are not crashing out! We are not at a cliff edge! We are not little Englanders and we are not stupid. March the 30th will look exactly like March 29th but the future will be brighter.  History will show how we have mapped a brighter future for those that have tried so desperately to sabotage our future. They should be ranked among the communist shop stewards such as Red Robbo a man responsible for 523 strikes, who brought down our industrial manufacturing base of the 70s!

Dominic Grieve's Motion To Take Over The Government

A Motion has been tabled by Dominic Grieve effectively enabling a small group of MPs to take control of Parliament. This motion is open to all parties and would need only 10 Conservative MPs to vote in its favour. If, they do then of course it would mean the Government were no longer in control of the process leaving the way open to stop Brexit.

South Bucks 78.4 % turnout. Remain 20,077 and Leave 20,647

MP Dominic Grieve

PROPOSED AMENDMENT 1 TO SECTION 13(6) MOTION

As an Amendment to the Motion tabled for the purposes of section 13(6) of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2017
Leave out from “House” to end and insert “believes that [INSERT DECLARATORY WORDS RELATING TO NEED TO PREVENT NO DEAL BREXIT), and orders accordingly that — (1) On [DATE OF SUBSEQUENT SITTING DAY TO BE INSERTED] —
(a) Standing Order No. 14(1) (which provides that government business shall have precedence at every sitting sa. as provided in that order) shall (subject to paragraph (e)) not apply;
(b) a Motion in connection with the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union in the name of at least 300 Members of the House elected to the House as members of at least five parties and including at least 10 Members elected to the House as members of the party in Government shall stand as the first item of business;
(c) that motion may be proceeded with at any hour though opposed, shall not be interrupted at the moment of interruption, and, if under discussion when business is postponed under the provisions of any standing order, may be returned, though opposed, after the interruption of business; and Standing Order No. 41A (Deferred divisions) will not apply;
(d) at the conclusion of debate on that motion, the questions necessary to dispose of proceedings on that motion (including for the purposes of Standing Order No. 36(2) (questions to be put following closure of debate)) shall include the questions on any amendments selected by the Speaker which may then be moved; and
(e) but if no motion which meets the requirements of paragraph (b) is tabled by 6.00 pm on [DATE PRIOR TO INTENDED DATE OF DEBATE), the provisions of paragraphs (a) to (d) shall not apply”

This is an outrageous act of sabotage. The Government should immediately call a General election at which point deselection should take place. Failing to do so would open this country to untold problems.  It is a selfish act of sabotage. In the words of no. 10 it represents "A very British Coup".

One man is not above 17.4M voters it is an abuse of power in the most extreme. This will overturn centuries of proven Parliamentary procedures. Not since Queen Anne 1707 has a sitting Monarch not approved or given Royal Assent we could well be facing another such period.

Shocking behaviour.
