Mental Health in the Workplace

Mental Health in the Workplace.

I read a story today which has been carried by the mainstream media. It's about James Packer resigning his many Directorships from Australian corporations, due to mental health. This acknowledgement is commendable.

Perhaps now we can have real recognition of this health issue in the workplace. The impact on employees due to unnecessary stress placed on them by ill-equipped managers. In the past we had training to equip our leaders and our managers on how best to behave, how best to motivate, how best to support, counsel and develop. All too often management is now ill-equipped to support the business' that they manage.

“Leadership through quality” Well done James Packer, I wish you speedy recovery.

Regardless enjoy life for sure you have the ability.
